
Marija Jevtić was born in Valjevo. She graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design in Belgrade, department of scenography (set design), in 1994. In the same year, she began working at the ‘Atelje 212’ theater. As a set designer and costume designer, she realized more than a hundred projects. Since 1999 she has been engaged in graphic design and illustration. Author of several picture books for children. In 2013, she exhibited at the international exhibition ‘The Art of Touch’ in Sarajevo and at the ‘May Salon’ in Belgrade. She took part at the ‘Golden Feather’ in 2014. Representative of Serbia at the Biennial of Illustration in Bratislava in 2013 and 2019. Award winner of illustration at the Novi Sad Book Fair 2015. Winner of the award of the Graphic Arts Section in 2017. She has exhibited at several collective exhibitions. Author of five solo exhibitions.
